All Science assessments will be based on the 2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards for Science. The U.S. History assessment will be based on the 2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards in the Social Studies.
	ELA and Math assessments are based on the 2016 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards.

The Office of Assessment is a branch of the Office of Curriculum and Instruction. The Office of Assessment oversees all state testing for the Columbus Municipal School District. This currently includes:

-MKAS testing in grades PreK and K

-MAAP testing in grades 3-5 in ELA and Math

-MAAP-SCI the Mississippi Science Test in grade 5.
